Abachi - Ayous

The products offered are in their raw state. On request, these can of course be processed according to your ideas. Such as planing, grinding, cutting to length or trimming and much more. I would be happy to advise you on all questions.
The photo is of our unplaned abachi wood. Since abachi and ayous have largely the same structure, a sample photo is shown.
Abachi or Ayous is often used in the sauna area because this wood is not very conductive. Furthermore, this type of wood is often used in flight model construction due to its low weight.
Abachi or Ayous (Triplochiton scleroxylon has a different common name depending on the country of origin) is very easy to work with. However, it is susceptible to insects. Triplochiton scleroxylon should only be used indoors. Not suitable for load-bearing structures.
